Heritage Hair Studio is nestled in the heart of the Bloomington Prospect Hill neighborhood. Built in 1904, the cottage we occupy provides a quaint, peaceful, and bright environment where all of our stylists can be focused on you. Heritage was conceived in 2006 as a community minded business specializing in services for all by Claire Pendlebury in what was then called Pendlebury Hair Studio. The business was then passed on to her protege Gwynne in 2012, and after three years was rebranded as Heritage Hair Studio. Now Gwynne and her team of stylists provide sophisticated hair care in a tranquil and friendly environment that focuses on bringing out the best in you and education on what your hair needs to look its best.
Things to Know
The best way to reserve an appointment is through our online booking system. A credit card is required to secure all appointments.
Our stylist time is valuable, we understand that life happens but we want to ensure that our team of stylist can adjust their schedules accordingly and accommodate clients on the waitlist we require 48 hour notice to cancel or modify appointments.
Cancellations that occur with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a fee of 50% of the booked time.
Subsequent cancellations without the required notice will be charged a 100% of the value of the appointment.
Our team charges hourly session rates based on their education, experience, specialties, skill, and demand.
Hourly rates are charged by length of time of service and are all-inclusive. There is a one hour minimum.
All services are personalized to your desired outcome, but we do highly recommend filling out our intake form and scheduling a consultation beforehand to discuss with your stylist our to be matched with the perfect session stylist for you.
Tipping is not expected at Heritage. Gratuities cannot be added to credit card charges or processed through the salon.
